Booker

The Wise One.

Friendly | Easy-Going | Wise | Curious | Loyal

You meet a new dragon...
"Greetings." A rich voice comes seemingly out of nowhere, setting you on edge for a moment before a Tundra seemingly cloaked in darkness emerges out of nowhere, and although most of him was covered by clothing, his body language conveyed no hostility, but rather was relaxed and open. What little could be seen revealed tame colors that matched nicely with each other, his wings a vibrant mix of different colors that were tucked closely by his side.
"Forgive me for being rude, but I've always seen you around, and I've never had the chance to introduce myself." Dipping his head slightly, you could catch a glimpse of humored silver eyes underneath that cloaks hood before he'd straighten up again and continuing, "Allow me to welcome you to our lair, since our leader is currently preoccupied. My name is Booker, and some call me Book for short, it is a pleasure to meet you."
In the middle of his speech would one of his paws lift up, pressing it against his chest before he noticed your gaze lingering on his scarf, and he couldn't blame you for lingering on it. It stood out from the rest of the clothing he wore, and a soft rumbling chuckle would escape him as he'd eventually speak up again in that pleasant tone,
"I see you've taken a fancy to my scarf, it was a gift to me by my closest friend. Perhaps you've met her already? She resides in anothers lair, she made me this to commemorate our friendship, it's one of my most closely guarded possessions- so no, I won't sell it to you. I apologize."
Nodding your head in understanding, you'd ask about the tome currently at his thigh, something that belonged to the Ice Flight. Why carry such a book in the territory of the Lightning Flight? With a pensive hum, the Tundra would direct his gaze down to the Ice Tome, and he'd linger on it for a moment before he'd address your inquiry,
"I travel very frequently, my friend. I'm only staying here for as long as need be before I start travelling again, I've brought myself many artifacts, many stories, many legends from around the world. I've seen wonderful things you couldn't even begin to imagine, perhaps I should tell you them some time?"
Having turned his attention back to you, those silver eyes were in full sight now, holding a mischievous little twinkle to them, and although his facial features were currently obstructed, it wasn't hard to guess that he was smiling underneath that mask of his. Although his words ate at you slightly, and another question would be poised at him, one he was ready to answer with a tease,
"How old am I? My friend, you should never ask another dragon their age, although I will tell you this: I'm far older then you might think! Now, I'm sure you might have more questions, but I'm afraid I cannot use up any more of my time lest our leader get furious at me for 'slacking again'. Perhaps we will see each other again, farewell!"
You would nod your head, saying that you'd look forward to that day as Booker would grin, walking past you and you could've sworn you heard a strange sound as the Tundra passed by, but when you looked to see what had happened, he was gone. What a strange dragon he was, you thought as you continued on your way.
