(Alec) barista Alec certainly isn't a little hatchie, and he is too old to be called a fledgling but he isn't really an adult either. Everybody knows Alec. He is tall and handsome with sleek pale scales and wide wings, and he gazes at you from big blue eyes from under the thickest lashes- almost girly lashes, but no one would say that. He wears a spiffy steampunk-y vest and has a funny small frill, poked and prodded into shape. He's not really old enough to have a frill and it isn't a very good one. He always has money and adults sometimes wonder where it comes from. Certainly not from his little cafe, which he runs by himself in a small corner of the dirigible. Whenever they take on passengers, it gets a bit of business, but not nearly enough to keep it running. And yet, it does. Whenever it's open (you can tell when from the little sign on the door) you'll find him faithfully there, leaning onto the counter sideways in a lazy sort of way and polishing glasses. He's always polishing things, whether they be glasses or the dirty counter or his own scales. But the second the clock ticks to four (that's when the cafe closes, didn't you read the sign?) he's gone, and nobody ever sees him again 'til nine the next morning, when the cafe opens again. He has an arsenal of terrible, terrible puns.  |
