Farren is a wandering dragon who goes around the Windswept Plateau to help spread the word of the Cloudsong Circus. He feels indebted to do so due to having been saved by Sasta from having his wings clipped in a net malfunction. Although that net belonged to Sasta, she didn't have the heart to tell him in fear of Farren thinking less of the spiral. Thinking she saved his life, the coatl chooses to work and do their best to help Sasta in whatever he can until he can find a better purpose.
He grew up in a cushiony life and never had to work for what he wanted, which caused him to lack a sense of purpose when he grew up. He ventured out into the world in hopes of finding what his purpose is and what he is supposed to do, but as of right now, he struggles to find anything that stands out to him as a calling.

He will often visit the circus to report back to Sasta and make sure everything is still in one piece, however, he is often approached by others outside of the circus, believing Farren doesn't have that big of an attachment to it and could be lured into working for others or doing other things. Farren forbids himself from even having the thought of working for someone else, as he feels loyal to Sasta and doesn't want to leave her without good reason.

tumblr_ph64flyTl71wgebr5o3_250.png Although Farren doesn't like to talk to or interact with anyone besides Sasta, he has grown fond of one of the performers by the name of Vrinde. The Nocturne was insistent on becoming friends with Farren, and her excitable nature was endearing to the coatl. His chill attitude helps Vrinde find calmness in her otherwise buzzing mind and coming back to the circus to see Vrinde has become one of his favorite things.
