Biography

He said it’s sweet enough to melt the flesh from your lips. And sweet enough that these endless plains may no longer feel so oppressive, and so the distance mirage does not fade, until the shimmering water laps at your feet and glides down your parched throat.
The cauldron bubbles and spits something acidic. It hisses in contact with the soot caked canvas wall and your skin, you watch another small hole burn amongst the many. The smoke fills the cramped annex, inviting itself into the holes of your face and stings, flies invite themselves also to drink from your watering eyes. They’re persistent enough that you no longer bother to swipe them.
He stirs the milky green liquid with a discoloured stick. Eyes half-lidded and dead, yellowed fangs from receding gums bared true to his statement, a perpetual snarl.
