An ambassador from the Cloudsong clan. Sent by Clan mother Eva to serve under a new clan leader. Fable is a mama's boy through and through, so when his mother told him it would be a great opportunity to be an ambassador he jumped at it. Although he knew he was going to miss his good mother, he couldn't pass up the chance to see more of Sornieth. Some might have called him reckless, but he just considered himself adventurous. Fable loved his new home and he loved being an adviser to his new leader, and that translated into an enthusiasm for his work that was infectious and appealing, although he sometimes rushed into things he might have been better holding back on and he put his foot in his mouth more than once. Not the best situation for an ambassador to find himself in! Still, he prides himself on the fact that he's no longer quite the impulsive young thing he once was and holds the trust of his clan leader to such an extent that he's had a few different appointments as ambassador now with a few different clans. Each clan has brought with it different challenges and he has learned many things over the years, including how to take a more measured approach to things. One day he hopes to meet someone from this new clan to marry, another ambassador perhaps, someone who brings their own experiences from different clans with them. He hopes that will create strong links between his new clan, his home clan, and his partner's previous clan/s. He's not necessarily looking for someone older than himself, although it's hard to imagine that a younger dragon would have enough of the life experience that he's hoping to find in his partner. And while he's all grown up now, traces of the mama's boy he once was linger and thus he finds himself drawn to others who give off those nurturing vibes. Ultimately, though, the right mate is the right mate, regardless of age. And while he's had a few who he hoped might be the right one, he's been disappointed in love so far. |
