Biography

Eisfeld
Gardener/Plant Enthusiast
Longgrass Stalk
Flameweed
Paradise Seeds
Born on the heels of Greenkeeper's Gathering, Eisfeld has always had an affinity for plants. She loves the greens and browns of a twisting tree, the rainbow explosions of flowers in bloom. Unfortunately, being born into a fire clan did not provide much opportunity for nature. The land was barren, the colors to violent and sudden, not the correct riot of a jungle bursting free. Her birth clan had a gardener, a skydancer tasked with keeping a small collection of plants alive to feed those plant eaters in the clan, but she was short tempered, and had no patience for the small pearlcatcher and her desire to learn. And so Eisfeld watched the skydancer tend her garden in secret, slipping out of her parents nest to watch. It quickly became clear that the skydancer was only tending plants that would be the most healthy, fill the most bellies. Eisfeld was sad. Yes, plants were food, but they were beauty too. This garden was uniform green, a source of food and nothing else, trapped inside a cave to shield it from the ashy sky. Eisfeld was filled with the desire to grow beautiful thing, flowers of brilliant colors, twisting vines and delicate poisonous berries. She wanted a garden of useless, beautiful plants, but she couldn't have that in the Ashfall Wastes.
Speckled Petunia As soon as she was old enough, Eisfeld left. She said her goodbyes to her parents and her few friends. Before she set off however, she sneaked into the skydancer's garden and stole a clipping. It was a small, delicate flower, something that would become a berry had Eisfeld not taken it. Placing it gently on her pearl, she added another layer to the jewel, sealing the flower forever into her soul. Laughing slightly at her sentimentality, she set off.
Glow Mushroom
Bloody Snapdragon
Peace Lily
Skirting the coast of the Shifting Expanse she headed for the Viridian Labyrinth. She wanted to live in the lush forest, among the trees dripping with colors and the flowers, open and vibrant. She wanted to meet dragons who shared her passion for the beauty of plants, of growth. On her way to the Labyrinth, however, she passed though another forest. One of dark, gnarled trees, of glowing mushrooms, and strange, flickering shadows. The earth seemed to sink under her claws, and the musky air filled her nostrils. Struck by something she couldn't name, she sat down. This place was dark, depressing, but it was also bursting with life. The trees were hardy, reaching tall to get all the light they could above the oppressive canopy. The mushrooms threatened to blind her if she stared at them too long, their gentle glowing pulse almost mesmerizing. The soil was rich, her claws itching to start planting the more they dug into it. Eisfeld sucked in a breath, making up her mind with that lungful of wet air. She would stay here, she would plant her garden, and the Tangled Woods would explode with color.
