Viper originated from and left Dragonhome at a young age, traveling through the regions as a merchant and part time mercenary. Though she doesn't explain how she managed to pull it off.

She encountered Mamba's gathering patrol whom consisted of Hellebore, Gladiolus and Pantano. At first she clashed with Pantano because of the latter's hostility despite Hellebore’s attempt to break up the arguing dragons – eventually Mamba intervened and stopped the two, later apologizing to Viper for Pantano's behavior.

Viper was offered a night to rest at Truvo's clan in apology for the clan leader's son behavior. Eventually she stayed permanently in the clan after seeing much welcome in open arms and the friendships created.

And despite the arguments and personality clashes Viper has with Pantano, they love each other very much.
