"I think you've taken the whole tail at this point, actually," He silently thanked whichever deity had granted him the ability to keep his voice level, and in the same heartbeat began cursing the other ten. Since when did he lose at Shade's Shuffle? Gods, he'd been out of the Wood for too long if he was getting this dull around the edges.

Just as the thought crossed his mind, the nocturne hummed an agreeable note and began raking Pyrite's gold pieces toward herself.
