Hatched within Storm clan to Feta and Icicle, FrozenLake was always a bit different. When his nest mate left the clan, determined to travel Sornieth, FrozenLake expressed no emotion. Feta was incredibly concerned about his lack of emotions and tried to talk about it with him but he simply said he was doing what felt natural. After his mother's increasing concern got other dragons in the clan involved, he gave up trying to simply be himself. Studying other dragons and their daily interactions with others, he learned how to mimic their expressions. Though his voice still remained flat and emotionless, it tricked everyone in the clan and Feta wrote off his earlier behaviour as a phase. It was exhausting faking emotions all day. Every night he would hide deep in his mother's den and try and distance himself from everyone else. He got more secluded over time, hating having to leave the den because he'd just have to put a mask on. Eventually, he even got his own den to escape his mother. It became a rarity to see him outside his den. |

One day, on one of the rare days he left his den, he saw a new dragon had joined the clan. She was a beautiful and elegant pearlcatcher and the sight of her struck something within him that had never been touched by another dragon. The pearlcatcher approached and introduced herself. Oddly enough, they started to be around each other more. Over time, they grew closer and closer until FrozenLake opened up about his past. Being very understanding, she encouraged him to stop faking emotions and permanently discard the mask he always put on. Gloria even helped explain to Feta what was going on and his mother apologised for how she had made him feel, promising to try better (and she did keep her promise). FrozenLake and Gloria eventually were so close that they became mates, not caring about the obvious differences between their occupations, her being a peacekeeper and him being an assassin. He helps her break up fights between clan mates and she cleans his knives and daggers for him. Overall, despite their differences, they make it work. By ScorpioHeart “My opinion stands. I will not be swayed." FrozenLake's sharp, ruthless nature is in perfect accordance with what the stars intended. He came into the world when the constellation Taurus was keeping watch over the heavens. The bull curses his children with stubbornness and determination to do as they wish. FrozenLake's heart of ice will never falter. He will not bend to the whims of others, nor will he every back down from a fight. His star sign has also gifted him with tactfulness and caution, which is very useful for this skilled assassin. He plans his attacks meticulously and methodically, almost like it’s an art form. This is why he has never been caught and this is why he never will be. “What’s mine is mine.” Venus ruled the skies in the second house on the day of FrozenLake's birth. The combination of possessiveness from the second house with the passion of Venus leads to a deadly fixation on ownership. In other words, when FrozenLake decides that something belongs to him, that object will be with him forever. Whether it's gold, a place to live, or another dragon, he will never let it leave his sight. His icy and empty nature creates tension between the Taurus element earth, but every dragon knows that ice makes the ground deadly. FrozenLake shapes the world around him, carving his own niche into his surroundings. This dragon is unstoppable as a snowstorm. Once he’s decided upon a course of action, there’s no standing in his way. |
