Biography
A pile of (sentient?) armor. Arrived in the main lair one day and has been here ever since. Who, or, whatever she is, she’s mute, but is said to have a wicked sense of humor. Kousa suggested that the dragon under (or within?) the armor must be a guardian whose charge is the lair. His guess is as good as anyone else’s. She seems to have grown affectionate with Laharin. Good for those two, I guess
It all began when the clan’s eldest residing water dragon, Zegai, received a vision years ago of a runaway royal and the absence of the Tidelord. At the time, none of it really made much sense to her, and she kept mainly to herself... until the Tidelord really did vanish. The absence of her beloved deity shook Zegai to her core. No longer did she have the familiar presence of his prophetic visions in her mind.
Years past and Zegai mainly forgot the rest of the vision until one stormy day. The fleet of airships were cruising along the border of the steppes and the Sea of a Thousand Currents when a monsoon began to downpour. On her patrol of the deck. Looking over the side she noticed something large clinging to the side of the ship. It was only after she brandished her sword that the identity of the stowaway became known. It was a scrawny green imperial covered in kelp and tattered blue robes. What was most perplexing about him was that coral seemed to sprout from his twisting antlers and broad gills lined his neck. He introduced himself as Edison, and Zegai immediately took him into the brig.
After determining Edison to be harmless, he was offered the opportunity to recover with the clan until he was strong enough to return to where he came from. Except Edison didn’t have a clan to return to. He didn’t say much about his past or his clan, but he did sheepishly express a desire to stay longer. Edison was then taken under Zegai’s wing, and the weathered old guardian put the quiet mysterious imperial to work scrubbing the decks and polishing armor. Everything was perfect for Edison. Finally he could live out a quiet existence as a nobody...
Until a colorful young guardian came crashing onto the bow of the airship one day demanding the release of her charge, the prince. Aquarius barreled through the ship, looking in every nook and cranny to find Edison until she came across him returning from a fishing expedition and promptly tackled him to the ground. She was going to take the lost prince back to their realm and free from these savage sky pirates immediately. However, she severely underestimated the runaway royal’s stubbornness as he planted his feet on the wooden floor and demanded that she stop. This was his home now, there was nothing to return to at his fallen kingdom, thrown into chaos at the Tidelord’s disappearance. If her charge was going to stay, so would she, and Aquarius then sighed, resigning herself to her new home high above the waves.
