Biography
"Bloody hell, do you not understand? Is your brain too dense to get that we are going to be under attack in five minutes?"
Prospect was very, very frustrated. Clearly the neighbouring clan had intentions to attack and take back what was theirs. But it was also clear that no one cared. And Prospect's predictions were never wrong.
"Dude, you gotta chill. We've got a plan, don't worry." SkyKeeper lazed in his chair. A very comfortable chair. No one was allowed to sit on it except for him, the clan's leader, their ruler, their king!
"I know we have a plan, but why isn't anyone doing anything? They will be upon us in four minutes! You are obviously not fit--"
"Prospect. You're doing the thing again."
Prospect sighed. "I'm sorry. But we really should be--"
"Look, I know you are very smart. I know that they'll be here in a matter of minutes. But you really need to trust in your fellow clanmates sometimes, you know. We're not as thick-headed as you think."
"I never said you were thick-headed."
"Idiotic, inferior, simple-minded, unable to comprehend... Same thing." Prospect didn't respond to that. It was true that he thought of others as below him. It was true that he would often show off his intelligence by using big words. It was true that his ego was big as him. "Now, sit back, relax and enjoy the show. They're here."
Prospect turned his head to see a hoard of fluttering faes, skydancers and coatls charging straight towards their lair. They were armed with sparkly magic and bottles of shiny liquids. Then out emerged a scary ridgeback, a fearsome roar booming from his chest. The feathery butterflies friend froze. A Skydancer at the front yelled, "RETREAT!" and they all turned and flew away.
Prospect was dumbfounded. "They... They were..."
"Huh? You didn't know? That clan is full of faes, skydancers and those coatl folk. And honestly, they're the worst fighters." SkyKeeper laughed. "They're all fairies and nothing else. Kaiser scared them off real easy."
"That was our plan?"
"Well, yeah. It doesn't take very much... Hey, this is amusing. You predicted the time when they would come, yet you didn't know what we were up against. How's your ego feeling now?"
Prospect didn't respond to that either. He turned and went back to his little part of the lair.
