Stories are her calling. She listens, records and interviews. Part investigative journalist and part intelligence operative, she puts her love of gossip to good use. Sublimity began using manuscripts to help her sketchy memory and fell in love with the art and skill of carefully drawn illuminated text. Haunted Flame candles come in handy as she likes to work long into the night. Sublimity was a snooty, standoffish hatchling. The clan did everything possible to make her comfortable, but she gave little thanks. She knew she was Lightweaver's Gift. Insufferable! But, she came around... eventually, after no one wanted to be around her. Finally, it dawned on her. No companions means no chatting and no new stories. Sublimity stopped her incessant self promotion and learned to listen. In hindsight, the clan put her on that pedestal. We didn't understand the pressure that our expectations put on Little Sublimity. She assumed the attitude she thought was expected of her and, more deeply, to cover the fact that she felt unsure.

The Revelation are a holy order made up exclusively by the Revelation subspecies, and to reduce the confusion, the order itself is sometimes referred to as "the Truth," for none of its members are capable of lying.

Although Revelations are not hive-minded, they are so named because at the moment they are born, the memories of every other member of their kind is revealed to them. From then on, they make their own memories. While it is a personal choice, if they want more truth to be revealed and their memories synced again as at birth, they need to visit Lightweaver who sees all and can grant them a blessing (here is where I make it canon to exalt them). The frequency of their blessings affects their memory retention and abilities overall. You see, The Revelation are also so named because they can also reveal the truth to others by way of recall and playback of their vast, perfect memories. If they choose not to receive regular blessings, they begin to lose their shared memories and some of their abilities. This is reflected in their appearance.

Although The Revelation are a holy order, many choose to live as normally as possible. They make gifted tutors, mediators, storytellers, and scribes. It is difficult for some to make friends knowing that they cannot keep any secrets, but those who do befriend a Revelation know that they are getting the most loyal and true companion who is not capable of lying or betrayal.

5/13/16 Although clutching her pearl tightly, Sublimity arrived safely and seems rather comfortable considering she's recently hatched and awoke with glimmers of the collective memories of her kind. The clan is buzzing with excitement of the new Revelation joining us. ~ Afar
