Raxe became the best fighter within the lair in time, and her lair leaders told her she was to become a Mire Flyer, a rare trainer who was so strong they could successfully train 2 dragons at once in the Mire. Raxe followed orders and soon dragons from all over the world were requesting to be trained by her. The lair leaders were impressed and soon used Raxe as the poster girl for thier dominance pushes. They were profiting off of her abilities. Raxe was constantly training, she had no hobbies, no friends, nothing but training. But this was what life was meant to be, she didn't need anything else..right? After a few years of being the centre of attention, Raxe grew dark and unhappy. Everyone wanted her to train them, no one wanted to actually talk to her about anything other than training, no one actually cared about her. She was a training tool, not a dragon. She started to stay silent and stopped trying to make friends. She withdrew into herself and just continued to do her duty to the deities.

"We are just here to learn more about your lair, we have heard so much about your training and thought it would be a great thing to see"
"you heard right, we pride ourselves on our high-quality dominance training, here the star of the show now! Hey! Raxe! Come here"
Raxe turned around to see the head of the lair and two dragons who she didn't recognise looking at her expectantly.
Raxe rolled her eyes and kept moving. She wasn't just there to be shown off. These people didn't care about her, just her talent. As she turned away she heard the tundra say
"Oh no, if she is busy its okay! We do not want to get in the way"
"nonsense. It is her duty to do as I tell her. I'll go make sure she remembers that and ill introduce you" said the leader of the lair.
Raxe wanted nothing more than to disappear. She took flight and sought refuge in the small forest on the outskirts of the lair. She sat there lost in her thoughts.
"Hello?"
Raxe tensed and looked around to locate the source of the sound.
"hello? are you Raxe?"
She sighed and rolled her eyes, she didn't want to deal with 'fans' right now, not ever. She prepared to fly away when the tundra from earlier emerged out of the trees.
"Raxe right?, are you okay? I am sorry about earlier Hathaway and I didn't mean to cause any annoyance" He said apologetically.
Raxe looked at him. No one had asked her if she was okay for years, no one had apologised to her ever. What did he want?
"Uh-huh, what do you want" She said with more poison in her voice than she meant.
"I just wanted to see if you were okay, you seemed quite upset earlier"
After Raxe was silent for a few moments he continued.
"You are not happy here are you?" He asked taking a step closer.
Raxe looked away towards the lair. She slowly shook her head.
"Do you want to leave?"
"Yes!" She instantly covered her mouth in shock. She did want to leave. She had to leave.
"But I cannot just leave... I have to fulfil my duty to the deities" She sighed.
"Do you not think you have already done enough? They do not appreciate you here" The tundra said quietly.
"Hathaway and I are travelling the world together, with the purpose of one day creating our own lair for all types of dragons to live happily. We would love for you to join us" The tundra sounded sincere and kind, but Raxe had a hard time believing they didn't just want her to train their dragons.
"You just want me to train them for you, as if" She turned away.
"No! Never! You could come stay with us and never train again. We just cannot stand seeing dragons unhappy in places they don't feel like they belong. We offer you a place to live without expecting anything from you expect that you uphold the values of the lair that keep everyone happy and free from judgement"
"I'll do it. Get me out of here" Raxe couldn't help but smile. She had found a way out. She was going to be free of this terrible life.
