Florelane is a mother figure to all, caring and protective. She is patient in her daily life as well as battle. She attracts and calms friendly and unfriendly creatures of all kinds with her tranquil, loving aura, which explains the constant cloud of butterflies trailing her every step. The potash peach tree growing on her shoulder is a symbol of her loyalty to her Gardenkeeper calling.
For her early years, her original clan had been good to her. It was a fairly good life. But the one thing she didn't have was the respect of her clanmates. She was 'just a forgetful tundra'. Nevermind that she had ideas, thoughts of her own; she'd never be useful in their eyes. It was time for her to move on and strike out on her own. She had no plan, and she simply left her childhood home behind, swearing that wherever she went, she'd never let tundras be underestimated again.
Florelane had been on her own for a moon, settled in a small, damp cave for the time being. On an ordinary quiet evening, a young Guardian dragon stumbled into her cave. He was injured, hardly conscious: she rushed to his side immediately and nursed him to health without hesitation. When he finally came to after a few days of Florelane's care, he told her his name was Erroen. She could quickly feel a deep connection between them; they were both alone, scared, and in need of real companionship.
They quickly became fast friends, staying up long nights to discuss everything and anything. Florelane was the happiest she had ever been, especially since she could see her own contentment reflected in his eyes. After a few weeks of peaceful companionship, Erroen revealed that something inside him had recognized her has his charge, even before he had regained consciousness. She was more than happy to be Erroen's charge, a welcome change from being overlooked. As their feelings for each other developed, she enthusiastically accepted his offer to be the founder of a new clan with him. They are still close as mates and even better friends.
