Biography
Dragons say that something is in the air. New colors appearing on new dragons. Old dragons changing old colors. And now this. He couldn't explain it either. Must be something in the air, he agreed. It was lovely being so sleek. Not to mention how much he enjoyed Kaisenna's soft fur against his new smooth body...
Another perk he noticed about his change was that his resting aura of magic was much smaller. This meant that as long as he didn't get too close to Kaisenna's flowers, they wouldn't wilt and die. As a Tundra, his aura pretty much filled the space that he and Kaisenna shared.
Previously:
The flowers. They all wilted. They always wilted. Kaisenna had planted flowers in her den, but when Kilchas moved in, they wilted and died. Kaisenna just shrugged and said she would try different plants, but those wilted too. Kilchas felt terrible. He knew Kaisenna loved her flowers. He would catch her frustrated gaze when she came home to find another plant withered and dead. They couldn't grow, not as long as he was around. She came home to find him one day, shortly after their last daughter left home, packing his things.
"What are you doing?" she exclaimed.
"I..I have to leave. Your flowers, I know you miss them. If I leave, then you can have your flowers again..." he said, head hanging low.
Kaisenna padded over, sat down in front of him, and grabbed his face in her paws. She then kissed him. Such was the passion and magic in that kiss that the air condensed and the wind increased around them. Snow flakes and wilted petals started whorling all around. When they pulled away, neither said anything. Petals and snow were still dancing around them. Kilchas never said anything about moving away again.
