Her official name is Binder but everyone in the lair calls her 'Cruella' after Cruella de Vil from the Dalmations story. It's something about her mane...
Binder is the colors of the Shadowbinder deity dragon. Although this makes her rather special, she is a humble dragon and tries to downplay the awe several of the Shadow dragons display toward her.
“It's tough enough to have all these gems, not to mention that special list of colors,” she has been heard to say.
She is an elegant beauty and wears a set of silks given to her by her Skydancer parents, Shadow and Binder, just before they went on to another lair. She really liked the wing silks but they kept getting caught in her gems, so she gave those to her friend Ravynaura.

Binder battled a minion of The Shade one day when she found him stalking Moonlit Nyyt Weyr. She won him over and then adopted him as her familiar. When the bond attached them, he took the shape of a Tourmaline Vulstal so that he wouldn't scare the other dragons, or have them chase away Binder's familiar. So sad that he can't be his true self... she named him Xonoea which he is thrilled about - he never had a name before! But then he couldn't pronounce it, so Binder told him to call himself Pongo, after the dog in that dalmation story. That one he can pronounce!

A Leaf in the Junk written for Cruella and Pongo by SpectrumScales
Binder, also known as "Cruella," was in pusuit of Pongo, her Tourmaline Vustal familiar. Pongo had snatched her Tanzanite Talonclasp Pendant and made off with it towards the once clairvoyant pool in the center of the ruined temple, disappearing into the mound of spoils that the Shadowbinder had collected.
Huffing, Cruella halted at the foot of the piled junk inside the pool to straighten her Night Sky Silk Veil. She pushed it out of her eyes to examine the pile, searching for a flash of light blue. Her search was fruitless; there was no sign of Pongo anywhere. Then suddenly, a furry face appeared at the top of the stack, peeking at her before disappearing again. With a heavy sigh, Cruella spread her wings in preparation to fly to the top.
At the peak of the pile was Pongo, sniffing at a certain spot at his feet. Cruella scolded him and took back her pendant. However, Pongo didn't seem to be listening. He was now trying to dig through the pile. A moment later, he came up with a certain item.
Pongo had found a Maple Leaf. It was general knowledge that Maple Leaves were used to carry messages to the Shadowbinder, deity of the Shadow clans and Matriarch of the Tangled Wood. Believers would whisper a secret into the leaf, hoping to entertain the secret-loving Shadowbinder with their private, often silly thoughts.
It was also the beginning of February, the month in which the Shadow elemental holiday, the Trickmurk Circus, was to be held in. Perhaps a fellow Shadow dragon lost their leaf?
Curious, Cruella lifted the leaf to her ear, straining to hear the slightest sound. After a moment, a small, quiet, very faint voice breathed a simple sentence:
"I dropped a pile of Glowing Embers and set a portion of the Tangled Woods alight."
Well that explained some things.
