Xinxiling is the leader of the Wind Woods Clan, or thats what the folks here refer him by. The skydancer mostly seems confused when he is called with that title, just perking up his head when mentioned. Honestly he prefers to be called by his whole name or just Xin, rather than "leader" or "boss". He just isn't used to being a figure of authority. Still he tries his best and does a decent job with organizing things and giving advice, but in reality Xin leaves the actual leading to his adoptive father Alastor.

How did a dragon who seems anything but fit to be a leader become a leader. It's a funny story. Or not. Depends on who you ask. Well let's just say that the previous leader of the clan did a pretty bad mistake, causing the clans area half burned and people missing. Unable to handle the damage his mistake had made, he simply hit the road and vanished. But thankfully the oracle Andras recieved a messager from Windsinger - presumably - saying that he would send them a new leader. So when Xinxiling with his small entrourage stumbled upon the clan, folks were sure that this was the right one. Xin not so much. But what can you do.

Clearly he is young and inexperienced with things such as leading, but he is toughtful and kind, something that the windwooders need after recent events. Besides he has people to help him, like Alastor, Noire and Kitka. He is also glad that the clan he leads is rather peaceful, he is not the one who could do much in the times of strife. He grew up with his adoptive father but was lost for some time, returning with loyal dragons known as Windbound Warriors. He isn't exactly open how that happened but maybe there is a secret spark of leadership in him afterall.[/font]
