The Alchemist
"Oh, the copper muck wasn't what I was expecting... hmm interesting."

Lead Alchemist | Mate: Stormy | Story: WIP

WIP put the wordy words here. Need something good to say! Cold hard logic is this drake's life and the only time that truth faltered was when the unpredictable state of love overtook him. When the emotion first settled on his heart he didn't understand it. He couldn't fathom why he grew nervous any time Stormy was around him, or why he grew completely defenseless when she smiled in his direction. It took time and a great deal of struggle to comprehend the sensation.

Certified genius
The lead alchemist for the clan. He works closely with Hexa and Corvid
He leaves healing potions in the duo's capable paws while he focuses on enhancing, altering, protecting, and creation alchemy. (Though he does know how to make healing potions and will offer assistance during times of emergency)
Keeps a very close eye on Phoenix and Kalani (whose devotion to caustic/explosive concoctions has had violent results in the past)
He's a very logical drake and will dismiss anything not rooted in scientific fact as a flight of fancy
Often times he is the butt of the joke for his prankster team and clan when they throw big and elaborate theories at him (all made up, often to preposterous levels) just to see how he'd react.
He finds science jokes, logic jokes, and convoluted/complex jokes funny. All else is pretty much lost on him
He does have a hard time socializing, due to his lack of (what he terms) laymen ideas (constantly, and I mean constantly, thinking about alchemy). In reality, he has zero understanding of normal social interactions (due to his always thinking of alchemy first). Stormy has prompted/coached him on the correct way to interact, so he is slowly coming out of his shell.
It took him a while to identify his love for Stormy (he recognized it before she did) but when he realized what it was he latched on. He explained it as a necessary chemical reaction that was unhealthy to fight against.
Stormy didn't see it quite like he did and was put off by the awkward alchemist for quite a time. Eventually, he started to grow on her at least enough to try a courtship. She's been with him ever since. (In joking, she swears sometimes he used one of his potions to make her fall in love with him)
Karri is his pride, even if he has a hard time showing it. When she was a cub he wasn't the best of fathers. Not because he wasn't there or didn't try, but because he didn't understand a thing about Cubs. More often than not he found the baby's responses illogical and had no comprehension of how to adequately tend to her. Thankfully, Stormy and the Nest Keepers helped him, but their aid didn't keep anyone from realizing he was a very clumsy father.
When caught in a fight will use what he knows about defense and relies heavily on his potions/creations to protect. (He usually tosses Phoenix at the enemy and lets him have at the explosions)

Notes: He did indeed put a spell on Stormy, though it was not intentional. While he was trying to coo her he found among the Traveling Merchants, an old merchant woman selling what he assumed were harmless perfumes. She sold him one marked love potion no.7. Little did he know that it was an actual love potion and Stormy's initial infatuation with him was due to that. Though, it was a mishap that allowed her to see him as something more than just a colleague. At the time she was so distraught with everything going on in her life that she would have never noticed his clumsy flirtations without aid. Her falling in love with him was all her, but that initial contact, the one that made her finally look, was enhanced.
