Protector to Sylas. Not long after being born in Legion, Aveira traveled off to the Order, rumors floated of it to many places and the concept of it fascinated the young girl. She tended to be interested in things she came across daily, more notably, people. Naturally, her parents Aard and Llywn didn't let her go without first knowing the basic essentials. In her type of job, she takes after her parents, having the necessary training to protect and guard who might need it. Ever since birth she had found what her parents did fascinating, aspiring to be like them when she was old enough. It wasn't that she was in any danger being there like her charge Sylas had been. It was quite the opposite in fact, she had been hand picked by Sylas' mother in order to protect her. Of course, Aveira hadn't been fully trained by the time Sylas was supposed to leave the Legion and therefore had to come a while after though she made it there all the same. She never actually knew who she was to be charged to, she knew the family and the name however she never saw her face to face. Aveira takes after both of her parents in some respect though she's become her own person since moving to the Order. She finds that the people here are quite inviting though she did take notice about the tense air that seemed around. It made her worry about Sylas' condition when she arrived only to find out that the girl was doing rather well for herself. It was quite awkward at first, Aveira stumbling slightly to try to adjust around Sylas as she was now in the Advisory in a highly respected position. And under the care of the known symbol, Requiem. It amused Aveira how similar Sylas was to her mother though she would never admit it out loud when she asked about it. Despite the way Sylas tried to push Aveira away and manipulate her like she did most, she had been taught better than to let her do as such. Her silver tongue didn't work very well with the one destined and grown up strictly to protect her and if she ever had a companion, to protect them as well. Over time, Sylas came to confide in the imperial she had been bestowed with, deciding it was better not to deceive her for she would simply overcome it. Their relationship remains a sacred platonic bond as if Aveira also served as her councilor for advice and she didn't mind that. It was part of what she did. Of what she had always done and what she enjoyed doing. To serve. To protect. To guard. |
