Relax... Take a break...

"Open your eyes, my sweet... Show me what Flight was the last in your vision..." the deep, but... somehow light voice cooed. There was a breath on his face, he could feel a few small claws dance along the side of his face, and... he could... he could feel. But he did not open his eyes... not yet.

No, first... he stood. A slow process, but he was eventually on his feet and able to hold his weight. And there he stood, towering over his creator, who he had still yet to obey. He simply stood, taking in he fact that he was breathing...

"Diastole... you have yet to show me your eyes." the voice called again, a soothing tone taking the lead this time....

...and then he obliged. The lack of light around the two left the only thing visible of the other beast her glowing violet eyes. And as he turned to let her see the fierce azure within his own, he heard a pleased sound.. and he acted without thought, leaning down to press his forehead against that of the much smaller dragon's.

"Systole..."
"Diastole..."

"I've been waiting a long time to meet you..."

During the process of Diastole's creation, there was nothing but red. A deep, thick red liquid... surrounding him, filling him, staining his scales and skin and nearly drowning him. All around him, the vision he was granted as he entered this realm, was death and destruction, a tsunami of blood taking out entire clans, entire flights...

It seems that his body is not under his own control, his movements sporadic and... just unnatural. If he is not curled around his creator, he seems somewhat lost, though he is never fully still. There's always a part of him swaying back and forth... and from the day he entered Micaryn with his mate, it seems that not a single soul had ever seen him walk.

His voice is much deeper than one would expect, even from an Imperial... it's also almost as if he doesn't have to do more than open his mouth for words to come out. Around only Systole, they speak without even opening their muzzles, their mouths purely moving to make themselves seem more... normal... though, how can beings created not from parents, but purely of blood, be normal?

They cannot. And if you think you can take on a 'dragon' such as Diastole, you would be wrong. He will have you underground before you even could comprehend his movements. While he tends not to fight, he keeps injuries to a minimum, either using psychological warfare or making sure that any blows will not leave marks... on the outside, at least.

Do not test what you cannot understand.
