The erotes are a group of winged gods in Classical mythology. The individual erotes are sometimes linked to particular aspects of love, and are often associated with same-sex desire. The erotes were usually portrayed as handsome, winged youths.

Erotes is the trusted friend and companion of Amores, the Deity of Love. He is entrusted to deliver messages of love as well as attend to Amores however he desires. Erotes is quiet and loyal; even when his companion Amores bugs him to no end, often out-bursting his annoyance to Amores who usually laughs it off or continues with being a thorn in Erotes' side. Although seemingly comfortable being outgoing around Amores; Erotes, when in company of others is quiet and respectful, keeping to himself and only speaking when spoken to. Whilst in the company of others and Amores, Erotes is obedient and waits for the command of Amores, being that his reason of being is to serve. Being innately born in the beauty of nature, Erotes has a deep and personal connection to it, often being drawn to it while in his personal time. His sweet and kind nature has given him favor and special skills with nature and its life. Erotes has his own personal garden where he grows tea plants and other greenery that helps with minor illness and vitamins to replenish body and soul. While Erotes visits his homeland as often as he can, a close and trusting friendship grew between him and a resident of Clan Lakerest, Kalden. They spend their visits relaxing in nature and enjoying tea and other baked treats Erotes or Kalden brings. There the two share stories and experiences, often benefiting each other in advice and wisdom, however small. |
