━━━━━━━ lore ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
____No one knows where Dust came from. Nor how they got to where they were found. They merely appeared one day as Noctilucent was passing by an entrance to the vast, still unexplored cave network the clan had uncovered in their last lair expansion. They were standing in the center of a hall, emaciated, and gazing straight ahead, through Noctilucent with a blank eyed stare--their head low and swaying back and forth slowly, as if pushed by some unseen, heavy current. For a short while Dust just stood there, whispering in a tongue it aggravated Noctilucient that she wasn't familiar with. Noctilucent paced forward, and sniffed at Dust, then padded around them--wings close and head low, matching Dust's in height in a defensive stance. Only Dust's ears moved to follow Noctilucent's movements, and they stumbled back, whispers breaking off into a panicked, dry hiss escaping their mouth as they turned their whole body to gaurd against where Noctilucent stood, but still, did not look at her. Realizing that Dust was unable to see, but unsure why Noctilucent fetched the clan healer, and her best friend Kona. After some time, Dust's whisperings coalesced into recognizable speech, and they seemed to come to from the state they'd been in, though they did seem to be blind. Eventually, Dust was able to communicate enough Kona put together that their memory was spotty, and they only recalled bits and pieces of who they were, and where they'd come from. They were from all the way in the Southern Icefield, but as far as they remembered, they'd wandered the caves in a fugue state--unable to recall more than that they had to warn others of a vague danger deep within. As word of their appearance spread, at Perch's suggestion Dust stayed, and as they could not recall enough to say exactly where the danger was, the tunnels were sealed off with several large boulders, with the suggestion to all but the coliseum team to refrain from entry.
