Undead; not quite a corpse, but definitely not alive, either. He’s an alchemist and apothecary, living in private quarters in the farthest wing of the temple with Jingyi’s blessing. Vethir keeps to himself, always working on potions and tinctures, sometimes pacing and muttering to himself…

Sometimes travels to far-off places to sell his wares, but always comes back to Jade House - he knows he’s got a home there. He’s been given the (mostly superficial) title of “groundskeeper” as he tends the gardens around the temple. He typically smells of mint and sake.

Mostly, he just wants to be left alone with his plants.
