Chet, a.k.a Captain Caspian
The Cursed Pariah
He has lived for thousands of years. He has seen empires rise and fall. He has seen many a hero fall in combat, and the same for villains. Of course, he has never been himself the whole time. Many a persona has been forged by Caspian, and many a tale has been told about him. All different, all with different perceptions of who he was forged through the power of his magic. However, there has always been one thing which is consistent. It's why many a villain has feared him. His magic can rival even the mightiest of mages - And he isn't afraid to use it if the situation calls for it.
He is truly, and was born, a gryphon. Back when he was one, though, he was never named Caspian. Such a name was a construct of his own, hundreds of years after he was born. Nobody knows of his true, first name - Except for Caspian himself. And such a name is one he wishes to remain hidden in the shadows.
His arms has been prosthetics for as long as he can remember. The technology of it was far more advanced than anything which existed back when he was only a child - And even now, the technology in it is still miles ahead of other technology which exists in the realms he visits.
Due to the many forms he has taken, he has expertise in acting and falsifying emotion. He is a wordsmith, always seemingly able to find the right words to say in a tough situation. He's not afraid to back down from a fight - Although he'd much prefer to stay out of conflict if possible. While he tries to keep his true emotions submerged, he puts on a playful and joker-like façade often to help keep others in high spirits. The occasional twitch or flinch is noted sometimes by his companion Kelder - But due to his clouded past, the reasons for them remain unknown.
