Alsingul is the clan's leader, or, as they like to call her, "den mother". Witty, motherly, and "wise" (in her own way), it's no surprise that she ended up leading a clan. That doesn't mean that she's afraid to get her claws dirty, though. Before founding the clan, she lived a nomad-like life, traveling around the entirety of the Starfall Isles and beyond with a group of about 40 other Faes. However, after circumnavigating the entirety of Sornieth, she grew tired of the life. Besides, she had already gained enough stories to awe generations that would come after her, and that was exactly what she intended to do. It wasn't long after she started her storytelling career that she met Brolen and they fell in love. Next thing they knew, they blinked, and an entire clan grew around them. She lives her dream as the clan storyteller and organizer, while taking her role as leader if the clan gets too out of hand. She still gets excited fairly easily and can still be heard singing nomad songs, however. Guess you can take the Fae out of the nomadic clan, but you can't take the nomadic clan out of the Fae.

Alleen, is her red-winged owlcat familiar that Alsingul met on her travels as a nomad. He's slightly more logical with his own wisdom, preferring facts to creative stories. This creates a balance in their storytelling career, with Alsingul extending the truth while Alleen keeps the main facts straight. Outside of that, he's calm, fatherly, polite, and not afraid to exert his authority. One disrespectful word or gesture and you'll find yourself on the floor, pinned beneath Alleen as he gives you a lecture on who's really in charge in the clan. Alsingul often objects to it, but doesn't try to stop it. Often, Alleen is justified in doing what he does from their point of view, anyways.
