As one of the founders of Clan Zorya, Ialdabaoth defines himself by his formidable control over magic. Exact and unyielding, his influence is a tangible force that has shaped the lives of the clan's members and the portentous nature of their work.

Through decades of intense training across multiple realms, Ialdabaoth circumvented the Fae's natural inability to reserve great quantities of magic by becoming a living transistor. Deep within the center of the Twisting Crescendo, he channels the power of ancient storms; seeking to understand the composition of the magic that defines the Windswept Plateau and the lands beyond.

The clan's territory lies at the epicenter of a jagged, artificial ley line of Ialdabaoth's design. Clan Zorya is a promise of power, but no one knows the true extent of the Grand Thaumaturgist's plans.

For many years, Ialdabaoth has kept direct contact with the lair to a minimum. His visits are infrequent, unscheduled and a cause for panic among the younger thaumaturgists. Leadership of Clan Zorya has fallen to his daughter, Circe, who possesses a degree of charisma her parents lack. And, yes, he made up his own title.
