responsible for the clan's aviary, the aviarist
also responsible for the clan's avian familiars
has caught and trained a bird from and for every region of Sornieth
messenger birds under her care are sent when a dragon messenger isn't possible or attracts too much attention
has a dear little sister Suriel in an allied clan, of the leader Varda in Wind flight
inherited her parents' wandering nature
has a strong sense of family, considers lots of her clanmates to be her family and sisters

Sariel was born in Earth flight's domain, but even before reaching maturity set off in a journey to the Southern Icefields with her sister. They both were too rash and too restless to stay home when the world was out there - surely something they both got from their parents, as they had traveled all around Sornieth from the Ashfall Waste to the Windswept Plateau to Dragonhome. Last Sariel heard anything of her parents, they had kept on to Lightning flight's territory.

Sisters Sariel and Suriel meet regularly even despite living in different regions, and keep contact even more regularly via Sariel's avian messengers.
