Asynja is a warrior - and not just by trade. She does little else. When she is not defending territory for the clan, or scouting for the clan, she is finding other battles: whether in the hunt, or on her own personal missions. Her fierce personality is contrasted by the fact that she is completely rational, and not the least bit feral or wild. She does not act out of emotion or instinct, but uses hard intuition and logic. The calm expression she wears makes her all the more frightening.

It is hard for the clan to remember that she was born of a lost egg, found and taken care of by Mirathorn herself. Her days as a hatchling were long ago, and perhaps seem even more distant than they really were. Even veterans of the clan could swear she came to the clan as an adult. But Asynja remembers, even if she won't discuss her childhood. Mirathorn is a mother to her, and she would defend the clan to the death. Some say that this is the only death she sees for herself.

She has been entrusted as the clan's Lightning Delegate, and will partake on missions to the Shifting Expanse for trade and negotiation, as well as intelligence and resource gathering. She knows a part of her soul belongs under the watchful eye of the Stormcatcher, but treats other Lightning dragons with no more regard than any other.
