Biography
"You are friend, yes? You come to serve Lady Lightweaver, yes?" - Aphelion
It didn't take long for young Aphelion to feel crowded in the populous Starwood Strand, so as soon as he was physically able, the little Fae fluttered off in search of shiny things to study. He traversed many realms, taking his time to scrutinize each new land and partake of its offerings. It was as he was flitting about in the lands of the Lightweaver that he came across a particularly industrious Guardian female named Duskwing in the midst of excavating her lair.
Aphelion found the scarlet beast quite intriguing. Though they had difficulties communicating effectively at first, the patient giant was willing to shelter her new diminutive companion. Like him, she shared a love of artifacts. His intellect also impressed her.
It wasn't long before the two established their clan and began devoting their efforts to the exaltation of the Lightweaver.
Aphelion, like most of his kind, is a highly active, excitable creature. He tends to speak quickly in broken phrases, and it can take one some time to get used to his atypical speech. His fondness for shimmering objects is matched only by his admiration for She whom he perceives to be the "Queen of Shinies" - the Lightweaver. He is also strongly bound and devoted to Duskwing, and will defend her with his life.
Although he is the smallest dragon of the clan, Aphelion's eccentric, dark attire and intense personality earn him the respect of even the largest dragons.
Clan Role: Queen's consort, strategist
