Like nearly all Guardians, Duskwing was hatched and reared on Fishspine Reef. The young dragoness was always inquisitive, seeking answers to countless mysteries from an early age. When she came of age, she heard the song of the Lightweaver in her heart, and embarked on her Search in the Sunbeam Ruins. There, she encountered her charge - a like-minded individual who shared her passion for learning and discovery.

Emboldened, the noble Duskwing resolved to rear a clan that would embody the virtues of the Lightweaver. On the sacred Sundial Terrace she hollowed her den, working tirelessly until it met her exacting specifications. Her labors did not go unnoticed - a passing Fae dragon named Aphelion happened upon the Guardian's dwelling. Intrigued, the ever-inquisitive, active little male boldly entered Duskwing's sanctum and befriended the patient behemoth. Gradually, over time, their bond strengthened, and together this "odd couple" sowed the seeds of a most glorious clan of Light.

Duskwing is stoic, noble, patient and wise beyond her years. However, she is slow to trust and like many Light dragons, can easily be caught up in her studies to the point of obsession.
