Once dubbed "Ugly" by previous clans, Lazarius switched homes very frequently, always finding his way back to one of the only places that accepted him. His swampy pallor and purple wings found few admirers, and his one home kept him out of a combination of fondness and pity. By chance, he eventually happened upon a clan that didn't care much for appearances, and were very much interested in his story. Delighted, Lazarius took on his new name and began to experiment with various callings to find a niche just for him.

Then he was accidentally Scattered.

His color deepened to a rich green, spreading across his wings. He still has yet to find exactly what he wants out of life, but his strong features and curved horns are more prominent with his new palette, and frequently turn the heads of dragonesses. Laz is unlikely to forget any time soon that it was this Fire clan that loved him even before the accident, and would be here to stay regardless. There are few who would call him "Ugly" now.

However, it seems the sudden influx of attention was a bit much for a dragon used to being shunned or ignored, and Laz has now taken to hiding his face. Though it's mostly to ease his anxiety and hide his shyness, it contributes to his "cool/mysterious" air and it may actually be making the problem worse. His time alone seemed to have been spent doing a great deal of gaming, and he has a natural knack for strategy. Noticing this, the clan leaders have tried him out as a battlefield strategist and it's going well enough so far. As it's something he is good at and it keeps him busy and away from the general population, Laz hasn't argued and seems somewhat relieved to have some (relative) peace again.

He's proven himself very capable at his job and is now highly ranked within the military on the intelligence side of things.
