Elegant and serene, Dionysus does his nature roots (pun intended) very proud. He is incredibly gentle with all things and is the only Nature dragon to have earned the title of 'friend' from Juniper. All about him there seems to be an air of tranquility that not even Steerpike is immune too. However all that serenity vanishes the moment something threatens someone he loves. He has all the power and skill to back up his rage as well.
Dionysus danced his way into the hearts of the Dreaming Ones. Achlys took a shine to him whilst traveling with the Dreaming Ones Entertainment Troupe and ended up dancing with him. To everyone's surprise the young dragon had such a natural elegance that before long he had everyone mesmerized. Lysander recruited him on the spot. He immediately loved the Dreaming Ones' home and was easily accepted by everyone, aside from Morgan's group and, worse yet, Lucid and Happy. Lucid seemed to know of Dionysus before he arrived and has gone out of her way to avoid him since he did. Happy had no such foresight apparently and was forced to meet the young dragon to find out that he hated him. It was an unfortunate incident for all involved. Happy, being as he was, had played a rather nasty trick on his sister out of spite. Through use of a spell he had essentially crippled her until he revoked the spell. Dionysus found out about this and confronted the witch's son. Happy laughed him off until the seemingly peaceful Nature dragon launched into him with the ferocity of something twice his, already impressive, size. Happy learned his lesson and has since avoided doing anything to attract Dionysus's attention. There is no love lost between them and Happy is always looking for a way to take his revenge. Dionysus does not seemed unduly concerned about this fact though. |
