Biography
Rebellious * Inspirational * Mysterious
Windstrider was quite proud of his appearance. And pretty much everything about him, actually. Thankfully, he didn't flaunt it. Otherwise, he'd be bragging day and night. And rightfully so. There was much that was impressive about him. He was admired by all, and he soaked it in gladly.
He was mostly an independent and quiet dragon, and these were what others thought were the most impressive traits of all. Windstrider spoke little, but when he did decide to say something, it drove maiden dragons to tears and made young hatchling's eyes glow with inspiring words that they would keep in their minds for the rest of their lives (yes, even when he said 'Pass me that squirrel' at lunch). He didn't waste words. Most dragons tossed them around, juggling the useless bits of small-talk like the bones that were littered all over the ground once the clan finished eating dinner.
Windstrider also took pride in that he had no parents. He sometimes said that he was 'born from sea-foam before the Tidelord was'. Many hatchlings were confused. They were told that everyone had parents. But of course, whatever Windstrider said was never wrong.
His looks were something special, too. His colors melted and blended into each other, and his claws were like glimmering jewels.
But the thing that Windstrider was most proud of was his son, Zelus. He was in the Lightning flight, and he wrote to his father every day. Zeus had a son and a daughter. Windstrider was proud of them, too. Zelus, Nuu, and Loki were more important to Windstrider than anything. He didn't care about the dragons that adored him, his independence; He didn't care for all the world if he had to rip off his own scales for Zelus and his hatchlings to be safe.
And really, that was the most impressive thing about him.
