Biography
I belong to Raan
Idea: Sunspot was the youngest of Shadowwing's children. It was no secret she their mother favored Silvereye. This lead to Sunspot try and upstage his sister to no avail. It only became worse when Silvereye was named leader instead of him. He scoffed at her attempts at diplomacy when she was stronger than most of the dragons she was submitting to. Although he has never challenged her for the right to rule the coven, it is well known that their is a divide in the clan caused by the two's conflict.
Sunspot had been found by Blazeclaw while attempting to steel food from the at the time, small clan. After a little prompting from her mate, Shadowwing decided to take the young Coalt into her care along with his siblings Silvereyes, and Owleye. Although Sunspot now had a home, it was far from ideal in the Coalt’s eyes. Shadowwing openly favored Silvereyes seeing as she was the oldest, and most likely to replace their mother should anything happen to her. As a result, Shadowwing spent a great deal of time training her daughter to be a strong leader, while the boy’s where left to their own devices. This normally wouldn’t have bothered him, but there was one factor that lead to Sunspot’s resentment to his perfect sister. In the eyes of his mother he was too soft.
Some impotent points:
Blazeclaw was about to dose off to the noise of his baby's when a load yelp for help caught his attention. In a second the red Mirror had the hatchlings in their own corners of the grove. He checked Owleyes first since he was the smallest, then his daughter. When he looked over Sunspot he found the source of the call. His white feathers around him neck where stained with blood. "Who did this!" He snapped at the other two. The mark on his neck betrayed it was a snap to the young Coalt's scruff.
The dark poisoned Skydancer stepped forward. "I-I did." She stammered. "It was an accident I swear!" Just as Blazeclaw was about to scold his little girl he was stopped. "What's going on?"
He looked back to see his mate, Shadowwing, hurrying to them. "Silvereye bite Sunspot." He explained happy to see his other have had enough time for her own baby's. She looked over the other hatchling and turned to Silvereye with... Pride. "Well aren't you the little warrior, thought you should never hurts you flight mates." With that she left.
Blazeclaw watched as his beloved walked away from the group. He rushed into the cave after her. "What are you doing?" Sunspot had been hurt, yet she acted as if Silvereye had done a good thing. He poised to leap at the dragon.
All he knew was pain from his side, and her claws on his neck. Somehow she'd pinned him. "Silvereye is the oldest. If something happens to us she will need to lead. So she needs to be strong!" She said as if it was as obvious as the claws on her paws.
"And Sunspot?" Blazeclaw chalanged. The look he saw on her face made him spin siffen. It seemed to say, 'what about him?' The red Mirror managged wiggled out of her hold and rushed outside to the Coalt. Sunspot was under the tree he'd been trying to sleep under before the incident. "Daddy, my neck hurts." The small dragon sounded so uncomfortable. Blazeclaw rapped his tail around the baby and pulled him closer. He curled up and began to lick the bite clean. If Shadowwing wasn't going to watch over Sunspot, he would. He felt his tiny paw clinch one of his massive claws. "I won't let her get the best of me next time." Something about his tone disturbed the Mirror. "She'll never out do me ever again." The Coalt promised as he fell to sleep.
When she was well and truly gone, Sunspot roared in fury. Why was he like this? He rammed with full force into a small tree. It splintered slightly. 'IDIOT!' He yelled, slamming into it again. Eventually he tired himself out, and went to bed.
The next morning, Starrysky was waiting at the grove to train. 'Hello!' She called. Sunspot looked up at her meekly. 'Hello.' She rolled her eyes. 'If you're going to stare at me the whole time, i might be better training with someone else.' 'N- no please' Sunspot decided to just go ahead and voice his feelings. He was sick of this, even after only a day. 'You're the most beautiful dragon i've ever seen.' He stated confidently. Starrysky blushed slightly. 'W-well that's very nice.' Sunspot nodded. 'Would you like to go for a fly?' He nodded again. They flew to a cliff an hour or so away, and watched the clouds pass. They talked all day, about their past and their future. Sunspot knew he was in love. Starrysky knew too.

Quote:
Sunspot was given up by the Fire flight as a hatchling. He was found by Blazeclaw while trying to steal food from the, at the time, small, clan. He was taken in by the first Shadowwing along with Owleyes and Silvereye. After his mother figure was removed from power he became closed off from his adopted brother and sister. Believing Silvereye too weak to keep the clan safe, he openly challenged her for the position, but was denied because of his similarity to his mother in his planes, and disposition. He will take every opportunity to challenge or criticize her orders. This arrogant streak often has him butting heads with Midnight, Silvereye's loyal (in Sunspot's opinion "blindly" so) supporter. He seems to have inherited a violent streak from his adopted mother unlike his other siblings. Because of this Silvereye put him in charge of protecting the clan, and training the new warriors.
