with confidence comes sassiness, and with sassiness comes the air of superiority of knowing
that she's better than everyone else. kemuri is extremely hot-headed, with a tendency to jump
right into battles without thinking whether she'd be able to make it out of the fight alive. most
of the time that isn't a bother, as she is one of the clan's stronger warriors, but as the leader
neglecting her duty to stay safe, that is a big worry. she is very independent and ambitious,
having many dreams and always striving to do her best so that she may one day achieve her
dreams. kemuri's fickleness may have also stemmed from her confidence and the fact that
she is quite a gorgeous dragon; while many dragons have butterfly pattered wings and rosette
like markings on their bodies, few are able to achieve the colour contrast that kemuri has
clearly been gifted with.

kemuri is friendly and welcoming towards new recruits and veteran dragons in her clan, but
it is hard to earn her forgiveness once you have wronged her three times. she believes that
everyone is entitled to three chances, so she's lenient for the first two faults. after that, she
throws the offending dragon out of the clan and leaves them to fend for themselves.

born and raised in the ashfall waste, kemuri had long since been exposed to many burning
fires and sooty smoke. however, just because she was no stranger to such things didn't mean
she had liked or even remotely gotten used to it. no, the smell of smoke burned the back of
her throat, and she spent her days skirting around the fires, fearfully avoiding them despite
knowing that it was unlikely that she would be burned. she had met many friends in the fire
flight, and due to her persuasion and confidence in her ability to lead, she had created a clan
to call her own.

due to her dislike of the environment of the ashfall waste, kemuri had decided to take her clan
to the abiding boneyard. one may argue that the conditions there are even worse, looking at
all the carcasses and bones and slime that lies around. infection and disease spreads quickly
there, but kemuri found a certain charm to the flight. the dragons that didn't wish to leave the
ashfall waste were quickly discarded, and they were soon on their way.

many dragons fell sick in the abiding boneyard. they were sacrificed to appease the
plaguebringer, and that started a new ritual with the clan. from that day on, new hatchlings
were taken and sacrificed. if the hatchlings fit a certain criteria, they were given a chance to
grow into adulthood. the moment they reach adulthood is where they start training with kemuri
and her right hand dragon. they were given one chance to past a test; if they passed, they
were allowed to stay in the clan. if they failed, they were either sold to neighbouring clans or
sacrificed as well. the failure rate was extremely high, but every now and then, there were several dragons who had risen to the challenge and passed the test. they appeased kemuri,
and they now serve the clan.

kemuri started off as almost nothing, and now she has grown into a queen of her own clan.
do not cross her, because you will certainly never live to see the sunrise or the sunset ever
again. even if she's unable to take you out by herself, she is able to enlist the help of everyone
else in her clan. they're all loyal to her to a fault, and going up against an entire clan of dragons
certainly wouldn't be a wise idea.
