Coria
Latinized form of Greek Κοριη (Koriê), an epithet of the goddess Athena which was derived from κορη (korê) "maiden". Coria is a powerful lightning mage with a shocking personality and an even more electrifying set of skills to boot. Training under her mentor has made her already powerful skills with electric magic even stronger so much that many dragons in her clan wonder how she manages to control that much electricity in her. Her markings crackle with every step she makes, tainted with that same power that resides in her. The clan whispers how she is both amazing yet fear inducing - much like lightning itself.

Born in a lightning clan originally, the young Ridgeback was outcast by many peers due to her odd markings and even her own parents wondered how powerful their child was exactly. Unusually for her pure Ridgeback heritage, a rare talent for magic blossomed from her studies into the mystical works of electrical magic and storm controlling. Eventually, Coria grew tired of the daily surroundings of harsh desert land and took off in search of a place where she could feel at home among others. It was on this journey that she crossed paths with another mage dragon who specialized in the same magic she was training in and spent some time training with them. However, she rarely talks about this event stating that all they did was work. After a period of time, she finally reached her current home where she settled down and began training properly as a fighter and a mage, hoping to eventually become a teacher or trainer to other new mages.

Due to her shocking abilities and markings, Coria gets her fair share of stares and whispers which has led to her feeling rather uncomfortable around other dragons and a preference for being alone. She is often found reading up on anything to do with her areas of magical expertise or training her abilities on simple targets such as trees and rocks around the clan. Although she does love being alone, at times her loneliness envelopes her, causing her to isolate herself even further to prevent anyone from seeing these harsh feelings of sadness. Despite this, she is slowly coming out of her shell and hopes to make at least one new friend soon among her clan peers.

Like the lightning itself, Coria is shockingly powerful but for her, someday the storm clouds will part leading to the happy future she dreams of.

Recently she has taken on a happy young dragon named Kisha as an apprentice. She was one of the first dragons she has taken a liking to in a while and can enjoy her presence.
