Snappers love to travel, and that's what Feronia was known for. She left her icy home and set out to see the world. She traveled as Snappers do, following old patterns that she herself didn't even know, just navigating on her own instincts. Adrift in the world on her own, she would create temporary shelters out of whatever materials she could find, and staying inside of them until weather permitted her to continue her journey. After many years of this solitary nomadic lifestyle, her peaceful journey was interrupted by a ridiculoous imperial named Isidore who had noticed her solitary wanderings from the sky. The strange dialect Isidore spoke made it hard for the two of them to communicate, but the persistent imperial never gave up. He flew above her and walked beside her for months, never explaining his motives or reasons, only that he was interested in where she was headed. She didn't think she was headed anywhere in particular, until fate proved otherwise.

It had been many years since she had made the journey through the Ashfall Wastes, and while many things remained the same, a curious new clan had shown up by the shore of the Tidelord's domain. What was more curious was the way that life had sprung up around the crimson tents, an oasis of flora among the lava. For once in many moons, Feronia stood still, as her imperial tag-along flew down to join her. The snapper thought she had built all there was to build, but these tents seemed more beastclan than dragon, and yet all around flew dragons of every species, tending to the fields and flocks that populated this little slice of nature within the Wastes. Suddenly, her wanderlust was gone, replaced only with a curiosity to understand this group of dragons. Mellona welcomed the snapper lady, as well as her mysterious imperial friend, into the clan, and now Feronia puts her building prowess to work, constructing tents and fences for the clan. Isidore has stuck with her, but uses his speed and stamina to carry messages and goods to far away trading partners. Both of them now know what their journey was for, because even if they started out in different lands with different goals, both their roads ended right here, in the Clan of Milk and Honey.

The two dragons have entered a quiet sort of relationship. While they both travel for long periods of time, they often nest together. Most of their children feel the same wanderlust of their mother and set out to far away lands and distant clans. Feronia and Isidore visit them when their paths take them near to their children, but most of the time, the two are content to keep their distance. After the Battle of Somnus Gap, Feronia has stayed near to the clan, rebuilding tents and fences. Isidore is worried that she might overwork herself, but he knows better to meddle in the affairs of a Snapper on a mission.
