Crysoprase Official Wind Ambassador  Crysoprase never really meant to settle down and find a permanent home, she'd lived most of her life on the go, flying as far as she pleased whenever she pleased. There was always this longing in her heart to see more, as if she couldn't ever be full of enough sights and experiences to stop her wandering soul from wandering so much. For a long time, she served as a messenger, flitting between lairs and staying only long enough to drop off what she was sent to deliver and accepting a new task. This all changed one fateful night when she was flying through Silverwick, a newer kingdom in the Icefields. Another spiral had taken up residence there, Breeze, and he insisted she stay long enough to see the night sky from Silverwick. When pressed for more information, the happy go lucky male would only smile and say it would be worth it, and darn it if her interest wasn't piqued. She spent the day with Breeze, meeting his friends and seeing his life as the Keeper of the List. She'd never had trouble being friendly with other dragons, but this male was different. She could see herself being actual friends with him, someone she'd want to stay in contact with when she left Silverwick. But as the day went on, that "when" slowly started becoming, for the first time in her life, an "if." Life here was really nice, she thought. This "if" became cemented when night finally fell and Breeze revealed what he had asked her to stay for. Blooming across the frigid night sky was a magnificent, shimmering display of rainbow colored lights. Crysoprase had heard of auroras, but never had she stayed far enough north or south long enough to actually see them. The dazzling display was enough to fill the missing gap in her heart, that, and her new found friendship with Breeze. Despite having finally decided on a permanent home, Crysoprase still loves to fly and to travel, so Orion asked her to take up the mantle of Wind Ambassador, something she readily accepted. |
