Vesper

Vesper was born out of a scandal. His father, the highly respected Imperial Lyosai, fell in love with a dragon that had been entrusted to the keeper for exaltation. In other clans, this may not be a problem, but Jadis had laid down a rule long ago that specified the exaltees must remain as close to pure as possible while in the clan's custody - the reason that, on the chance that Heliopa does exalt dragons, most of the dragons exalted from interclan breeding are babies. But Lyosai sired the unsavory sons, three of which resulted from the breeding. Two were sold or given away, with Vesper remaining. The dragons offer him little kinship unless pressed, and he prefers to fight or scout alone.

Vesper is often stressed and anxious, which gives him a slightly haggard and drawn expression. It shows in the darker shadows under his eyes and a slight loss of luster. The fae has a tendency to be awkward as well, which has turned the young dragon into a loner - not to mention how the more "virtuous" of his clanmates shun him. He has a quiet beauty about him, too - something soft and shy and honest
