Alpha is the founder of this clan. She rejected the dragon who was supposed to be her first mate and instead waited for the kinder Syris. The two of them had one male Guardian that was named Andros. Though from birth Andros had a heroic spirit and felt that he was destined for something greater so he left home and was accepted into a plague clan where he was put into the ranks of the Plaguebringer. Syris in an attempt to be closer to his son joined the ranks of the Earthshaker.

During this time Alpha was busy accepting new travelers and creating room for everyone. She was saddened when her first born decided to leave as well as her first mate, but she accepted that everyone has their own calling and she was just happy that her son and first mate found theirs. Though to help the small heartache she harbored because of their departure that lingered another dragon passing through left her with Mr. Puff the Smoky Bantam Fangar. The two of them became close friends. Mr. Puff is never too far away from Alpha and enjoys sitting between Alpha's wings during the day and cuddling up to her at night.

Alpha found her second mate, Asteraoth, in a light clan. She was intrigued by his markings and together they had Hope. Hope like her brother before had a bit of a wanderlust though she stayed for a while because she wanted to make her parents proud. Though one day she too could not stand to stay put in this clan and felt like she wasn't a true adult for staying. She told Alpha that she wanted to leave and although it hurt to see her little girl go, Alpha bid her daughter goodbye and told her that she was so proud of her as she joined the ranks of the Earthshaker.

It took Alpha some time to get over her daughter leaving and did not have any more eggs for a long time until she met Crypt. He was larger than life, quite literally. And with his tallent with very small and cute creatures Alpha was quickly won over. The two of them had triplets Forest, Seafoam, and Gold. Alpha hopes, just as any mother would, that these children stay close. Gold found herself a new home while her brother and sister went off to serve the deities.

There have been a few other mates and children. None of them stayed for very long. It really hurts her every time one of them leaves and there are some days she can't do her job as the Matriarch. During those days Midnight and Beta would step up and both of them would do Alpha's job. Alpha wouldn't even be able to get out of bed some days or would only look out at her land without focus.
