Ursa was discovered alone in the world as an egg and raised under the tutelage of a famed astronomer. This astronomer named the hatchling after Ursa Major and Minor, the most prominent constellations in the sky at the time of his discovery. (to be elaborated at a later date)

NAMESAKE — Ursa is a Latin word, meaning bear.
