P E R S O N A L I T Y ______Nur is a worrisome creature by nature. He is almost always wringing his paws about something. You can usually find him worrying over someone or something, and fussing over said thing. Nur is definitely the more effeminate one in his and Alcides' relationship. Although Alcides gave birth to their children, Nur is more of a mother hen than he is. When he isn't worrying or fussing about something, Nur is leading the more technical side of the Clan, making sure they have enough treasure, gems, and food to get them what they need. He is also in charge of trade in the Clan.

The Beginning

Nur was born a slave in Alcides's father's Clan. He was taken from his mother and father shortly after birth, and while he knew who they were, he did not truly know them. Not long after his birth, the Clan fell on hard times and a drought came upon the land. Because of the drought, plants and prey animals began to die, leaving the Clan hungry. Nur's parents, and many other slaves and citizens alike, died from either dehydration or starvation. Nur was forced to start hoarding food at a young age, and he has never truly stopped.

Nur always admired the Princess of the Clan from afar, but being a lowly slave, he knew he would never have a chance with her, so he tried to forget about her unsuccessfully. She was always in the back of his mind, however, and when she finally came out as a he, that did not make Nur love him any less. Nur cared deeply for Alcides, and was hurt too when his father refused to recognize his identity. Although he was never able to get close to Alcides, Nur rooted for him from afar, even when some of his fellow slaves turned their back on the new Prince.

And then, it was revealed that Alcides was a Blessed One, just like Nur was, and everything changed. Alcides went from being a Prince to being a slave, just like Nur, and coincidentally they were assigned to work under the same dragon, Pyrrhos. This finally gave Nur the chance he was waiting for, and the two had a whirlwind romance, which ended with Alcides getting pregnant. Knowing that he had to protect his mate, Nur planned and executed a scheme to get them out of the Clan.

They fled from the Clan as far as they could, before reaching a small cave, where Alcides gave birth in shortly after. While he was laboring, they met the traveling healer Cesara, who helped him deliver his and Nur's three pups. This was to be the beginning of their lives together, and the beginning of their new Clan. Not long after that, they met Cesara's best friend and later mate, Gaz, who had been attacked by Pyrrhos, who was looking for them.

When the pups were about a week old, they left the cave and moved temporarily to the lands of Shadow, as they knew that Alcides's father Hercules would not follow them there. There, they learned how to fight from Cesara and Gaz, who had learned quite a bit from their old Clan. Once they felt they were ready, they returned to Hercules's kingdom, where Alcides would finally challenge his father to the throne.

Alcides won the fight, which ended with his father's death when his father, unwilling to stop fighting, pushed them both off of a cliff. Alcides landed safely on a ledge, while his father fell into the cliff ravine, never to be seen again. After that, Alcides drove his father's supporters out, and he and Nur were named the new Patriarchs of the Clan. It was renamed to the Clan of the Rising Sun, and they re-structured the economy of the Clan to be more communist-centric.

However, all was not well within the Clan. Hercules's supporters banded together, and formed a group called the Hellhounds. These dragons were determined to not only chase down the Clan of the Rising Sun, but sacrifice them to a "deity" called Naomi, believing that it was the highest honor they could achieve.

The Hellhounds attacked the Clan for the first time, and nearly half of the Clan was wiped out. Knowing they could not fight back, Alcides and Nur fled to the lands of Plague. They hoped that by fleeing there, the Hellhounds would not follow... but they did. For six months they stayed there, terrified and hungry, until Nur brought up moving to the lands of Nature.

Hoping to be sheltered by the thick trees and winding paths, the Clan moved yet again to Nature, where the Hellhounds followed. Another bloody battle ensued, but this time, the Clan of the Rising Sun was victorious. The Hellhounds' numbers dropped, and they were forced to retreat into the shadows.

Now, Alcides and Nur live peacefully, but trouble is brewing in the background. Will they be safe from the new Shade-touched enemy lurking in the darkness?
