Lineage

Biography

In the beginning, like all clans, the Clan of Sonder was small.. The only adults where Rabbit and Ode, Aina, Tsukishiro, SeaShell, Raindance, and Nightshade. In this clan, while Rabbit waited for her eggs to hatch, she adopted a few lings. Those lings where RinRin, Letti, Lightshade, Flan, Donn, and Spiderlilly.

Out of all the lings, Lightshade was the meanest. The skydancer broke the idea of skydancers being pacifistic in nature with his sharp tongue and cold words, he was also the first skydancer in the clan. The victim of his words where Flan and eventually Spiderlilly whom didn't really care. When Rabbit decided to take RinRin in as her apprentice and Letti taken by Ode, his aggression got worse. Flan would run to his adoptive parents in tears while Spiderlilly took the abuse and just stared in annoyance and pity.

Despite all this, Lightshade was still sensitive and craved Rabbit's attention. Luckily, Tsukishiro and Aina saw through his mean exterior and took him, despite the fact he still considered Rabbit a mother of sorts. Tsukishiro was highly respected in the clan and it's representative at the time, and Lightshade followed him everywhere watching and imitating Tsukishiro like his life depended on it. As he grew older, his bitterness slowly faded away and he became more relaxed but still kept a sharp edge.

This led to his and Rize being silent friends who cooled off beside one another.

It was a fine day, it was always bright here. The clan was moving with Rabbit and a few others fighting while Aina and Tsukishiro talked side by side in warm but hushed whispers. Lightshade's brown eyes flickered to Letti who couldn't hear whatever Flan was ranting about. It was annoying, and Lightshade just smirked when Flan noticed him.

Tsukishiro walked up to Lightshade with warm but scolding eyes when he saw the smile and who it was directed out. "Light, it's time to go." Lightshade nodded and got up to follow his adoptive father out of the clans warm light. They were getting close to Shadowbone's clan for a meeting when some rogue dragons attacked the pair. Tsukishiro fought and took many blows so Lightshade wouldn't become unable to flee if it got bad.

Lightshade tried to help, instead he was thrown aside like he did to Flan. Then there was an angry roar as Tsukishiro charged at the attackers who began to surround Lightshade with primal, aggressive eyes and lulling toungues with some gnashingtheir fangs together at the fallen skydancer like wolves around prey. The young dragon was barely an adult and he had no experience with dragons like these. If not for Tsukishiro he would have been ripped and torn apart. Lightshade doesn't remember what happened then, only a fuzzy headache comes in remembrance.

After that, the skydancer built a more subdued and cold way of handling business. If a threat comes to the clan he eliminates it. As the new representative he appears calm and collected if not a little uncanny. Rize and Flan still hear his snide comments and angry threats.

During the invasion one of his surviving victims crippled his legs when three ganged up on him. He managed to eliminate the ring leader before being aided by his apprentice Banish. Now the nocturne is the representative and Lightshade follows behind him.

Since it is winter, Lightshade's hind legs are getting stiff and it pains him to walk. Lato, under Emeraldfeild's orders, has been rubbing them to keep them from fully being immobile. One thing is for sure, he has to step down from his job... But after Kin disappeared on the elimination job which has made Lightshade take it back.

But it's getting much harder with his legs.
