Elessar is a simple dragon with a simple goal: to punch a deity in the face. He doesn’t know how, or even why, but for some reason he just really, really wants to deck one of those pretentious nerds right in the schnoz. This goal has consumed him to the point that he’s planned his entire life around it. The walls of his room are plastered with charts and notes, each one containing a piece of the puzzle that will someday allow him to take a deep breath, haul back, and just pummel one of those sleazy crotch jockeys.

The strange thing is, Elessar doesn’t hate the deities. He actually thinks most of them are cool. But still, despite his best efforts to resist, he is driven to find one and slam his fist directly into their cranium. The whole obsession started when he was little more than a hatchling, and to this day he has no idea what caused it. He just woke up one morning and thought to himself, Man, I really wanna punch a god. His peers were a little worried at first, but they eventually shrugged it off as a silly hatchling thing or a fad. They were wrong. Oh, sweet Windsinger, were they wrong. By now Elessar’s obsession has ruined his life. Few dragons can stand to be around him for any period of time, since all he ever wants to talk about is his future blasphemy. Most conversations with him revolve around how to get to the deities, or the best type of punch to throw, or which deity to go for first (the Arcanist’s had it coming for a while, but the Stormcatcher is such a tool). The only one that genuinely enjoys Elessar’s company is Valen, his mate, who acts as the family’s breadwinner. She’ll fondly listen to Elessar’s latest schemes, supporting and encouraging him despite the fact that she knows damn well the pearlcatcher will get himself killed if he actually goes through with it. Oddly enough, Elessar’s one-man army of righteous punching justice has garnered a lot of support from clanmates in recent years. Some, like his mate, back him out of respect for his dedication; others just want to see a god get belted. Regardless, Elessar appreciates their support. He hopes his unholy beat-down will make them proud. |
