Biography

The Gods
Living in a higher dimension, the Gods together oversee different worlds. They live to put order and to protect. They have relatively more power than the ordinaries, however, they still have to follow the rule of equivalent exchange. They must pay for what is out of their boundaries. One thing all Gods must not do is to either create or bring back life.

Lancelot
Servant. (Latin)
The Outlier | Occupation | Fallen God

“I found you.”

Mate: Felice

Personality:
He is calm and silence, as if nothing in the world can bring him concerns. His emotion only changes when Felice is around. Felice is his source of happiness.

Title:
The Outlier.
He doesn’t fit in with the other Gods, his only friend was Korey. He doesn’t have strong connection with anything really. He is also the first God with such recklessness and power to successfully bring a dead form back to life.

“You moron!” —— Korey
...

Lancelot was once a God, he was in charged of every thing that happens on this land, in this time and space. A God like him who controls half of a particular world was called the 'First Level God', and was only under four other Gods in this huge God pyramid—the one and only Main God and their three side Gods.

His work was to watch over this land everyday, and sometimes it got quite boring and pointless—nothing really happen anyways. Felice was an unexpected discovery of his. Lancelot found out a lot of interesting things and objects during the days he looked over the land, Felice might just be on the same level of importance on his mind as the pink flower he discovered at The Viridian Labyrinth, or the crooked but vivid tree next to The Pillar of the World. Long story short, Felice was another of his thousands discoveries that he didn't think will mean much to him, however for some reason, he uncontrollably kept checking on this Ice dragon who is barely of age with a hatchling by his side, to see if they, or specifically, Felice was doing okay.

Communication with Felice was impossible due to the differences in dimensions—but he was always looking at him, watching over Felice had become on of his secret pleasure. Although there’s no one to hear, Lancelot would sometimes comments on Felice’s action like an old proud friend.

Until someday, by glitch, he needed to fix up some accident happened on land, Lancelot had become extremely busy that he could not keep track on Felice. Feeling exhausted, Lancelot remembered his little ‘pet’ who he watched him grew older and more mature. “Almost, I’m almost finished with my work……”

When Lancelot was finally free, he first went to check Felice, and something terrifying happened—Felice was no where to found on land. He searched every single place that Felice might be at, but not a trace was found.

Lancelot panicked.

The way he rushed in to Korey's palace frightened Korey, he had never saw Lancelot this confused and ‘down to world’. Veron made seat for Lancelot on the opposite side of Korey, who was interestingly checking out his fellow work mate, “Oh well, which of my river brought you here? Are you the Lancelot who only came once for my ten invitations?”

Lancelot was face down, playing with his thumbs, his face expressions could not be seen. That was a clear bingo in Korey’s heart, it must be words that are embarrassed to speak for his dear friend. This made Korey even more curious, what was it that made his usually calm and silence friend so anxious?
...

-Korey found Felice deep under sea, body being chewed up and his wings were the only parts that were still recognizable. Felice was dead.

- Lancelot was very down for a very long time, he felt like his pet disappeared in a split second. Turning Felice back to life wasn't something a qualified God would do - Gods should not alter births and deaths. So Lancelot didn't do it.

- Without Felice, Lancelot seems to went back to who he was - a God who need no help from others, who cares nothing from others, who have no desire to others. But deep down, Lancelot knew it was a lie - he missed Felice. He had feelings towards someone who's in a different dimension.

- He was not a qualified God anymore.

- As a result, Lancelot went to Abraxas, the top authority of Gods - The Truth. The Truth told him, everything has their own destiny, death is also destined; if he's dead, then that's what's planned. 'I cannot help you.' They said.

- Lancelot went back to his palace, and thought for quite a while. He understood what Abraxas said - Abraxas will not give him any help, but will not stop him from doing anything either. Lancelot can save Felice, however it might be not enough with only Lancelot...

- Starlight, a friend of him. He might be able to help.

- In order to turn Felice back to life, the equivalent energy of two Lv1 Gods were needed. Lancelot himself was a Lv1 Gods, so that's half done. Starlight's energy could equal to a Lv1 God, which she could make up the other half of the equation.

- He thought he's being selfish, getting Starlight to fall with him because of a random stranger to him. Starlight, on the other hand, thought that was not a problem at all. "It doesn't always means bad thing if you had fallen, you know? This might be a chance for a new life!"

- They decided to went to visit Abraxas together.

- Perhaps Abraxas had seen this coming long ago, they seemed prepared - beside them was a Lv2 God who Lancelot may or may not had seen, all the other Gods were in their position. Lancelot feels like this is just another one of their usual meeting, expect this time he is not in his spot next to Korey, but in the middle down on the ground.

- Abraxas was ready to replace Lancelot with that Lv2 God.

- So he took off his crown that represented his divinity, handed it quitely to the Lv2 God. During that few moments of handing over and receiving the crown, things changed - his badge on his original spot slowly disappeared and another badge was painted on, the word 'Lancelot' was also erased from his crown accompanied by the new name gradually appearing.

- Abraxas took back Lancelot's divine power. He was no longer a God.

- He was falling.

- Down in the lower dimension, something rarely seen happened - two beams of light stroked the sky one after another. The green one vanished before it hit the ground, where as the pink one fell into a river.

- Down in the deep, dark sea, Felice opened his pale blue eyes.

Wow, he's also super pretty - I gotta say that his green palette is very appealing and appropriate due to his former position as a god of the land. Oh, Lancelot...I both admire and shake my head at his martyr-esque choice, but I suppose if he so desperately wants to resurrect Felice, it's an acceptable decision. As his lore went on, I felt more and more anticipatory - this all culminated at the end...that last line, oof. That's certainly something and I'm kind of burning with curiousity to see where the story goes now that Felice is alive again.

Sidenote - not to be too tasteless, but a silly thought that entered my head was wondering how Felice is going to paddle out of the bottom of the sea, heheh
