Chinese for "Lion"

Referred to both affectionately and spitefully as the “clan mascot”, Foo is either way a well known member of the clan.
He is very in touch with the more beastly side of dragons. Even within society, Foo knows that dragons still have teeth and claws. In this way, he has no issue interacting with Beast Clans and in fact doesn’t understand why other dragons do. He can’t imagine why a beast with clothes is worthier of respect than own without. They are all the same and related, deep down. Why can’t they live on the same lands peacefully without all this “dominance” business?
Because of Foo’s ideals and animalistic nature, he is often regarded as stupid or feral. Others’ opinions don’t bother Foo much, though. It’s the need for respect above others that makes for territory wars, after all.

Foo is close with his father, Oki, and surrogate half-brother, Kade. Unlike Kade, Foo does share their father’s fear of fire and keeps his distance from Kade’s smithing fires.
Foo also works closely with Iwi and her peace dealings with Beast Clanners.
Most of his time, Foo spends with his closest friends: Parallax and Leif.
