Ignia is a powerful dragon who was born in an Arcane nest but taken in by a fire dragon, which is why she has mastered the magic of flame and her personality is fiery. She doesn't have a mate nor desires one, she only craves power. But her closest friend is Xanaphine, and her familiar Rex. She also watches her son Noss, and pushes him to excel at his herb studies, even though she wanted him to be a warrior.

Ever since Ignia was first accepted into the Clan,she has been set on the path for her conquest to power. She immediately targeted Orions small mate, Symphony because Ignia knew she was an easy target. The fae was beaten easily by Ignias overwhelming size and powers, but has since then convinced Orion to allow her to be third in command, and is planning to one day overthrow Ignia.

Ignia keeps the borders frequently patrolled and food stores stocked, because even though she craves power, she still unwaveringly takes care of her Clan. Her favorite food is any type of meat, but once in a while she would eat fish. The only plant she would eat is cindershroom because it reminds her of her hatchling hood. She wears armor to show off rather than protect herself, but wears the flame skin to also remind her of her hatchling hood.

She was the one to start the Council of Akurre, who convinced Orion to start it so Ignia would have more say in the matters of the Clan. Orion is the leader and has final say in all decisions, but Ignia is usually the one to lead discussion.
