"The Don's" Left Talon Dragon | Village Guard | Quiet Demeanor
Snow Globe Village

A Nocturne whose origins are wrapped in the darkness of 'The Tangled Wood', not much is known of Warren before he joined the ranks of Donovan's clan. Quiet, somber, and surprisingly humble, most dragons find it hard to associate the dark Nocturne with the equally scaled yet much more imposing "Don".

While Donovan was known for having his sister as his right talon dragon, sharing all important details and most of his power with her, Warren always worked from the shadows he was so fond of, carrying out his leader's orders without hesitation. How the Imperial gained the Nocturne's fierce loyalty is unknown, the Nocturne usually responding with little more than a rare, fond smile which light his normally dark eyes while the Imperial simply waves dismissively stating a simple "If I tell you I would have to kill you afterwards." Needless to say, this threat is neither done nor taken lightly, so the subject is always quickly dropped.

Unlike Leliana, Warren heartily approves of Keaira - the Don's dame - and her positive influence in his irrefutably violent, bloody life. Having heard the rumors that the Don had fallen victim to a female's wiles, Warren had left his post guiding the clan's usual business to seek out their leader, ready to shred the female who had dared to defile the Don's strong reputation. He was surprised to see that the rumors had been wildly exaggerated and instead pleased to find Donovan staying at the reputable Snow Globe with an Imperial lass he had fallen in love with while keeping an eye out on his much more impulsive sister.

Hearing the events that had transpired during Donovan's travels, he was ordered to go back to the Don's lands and keep proper control of the clan. Surprising both himself and Donovan, however, Warren refused his orders, insisting to stay besides his leader. As an even further surprise, Donovan forgave his 'impudence' at such a blatant disregard for authority - no doubt part of the weakness Leliana accused Keaira of inflicting on her brother - and allowed the Nocturne to stay on condition that he make constant visits to the clan to make sure that business remained in order. Ecstatic to be allowed to remain by Don's side, Warren quickly agreed to these terms without further complaints.

Although the Nocturne keeps full loyalty to Donovan, he has an unwavering gratitude towards Kakortok for offering of shelter and protection to his leader, and as such has taken a post as guard for the town. Willing to defend Snow Globe against any outside threats during his time in the village, he takes his job as seriously as his duty with Donovan. His comradeship to those in the guard with him is such that even the testiest of guards have a hard time associating him with the best avoided Don.
