"Scout reporting! Aha, sorry didn't mean to startle you. Distance to the next village is about two flight hours but predators lurking in the trees will make it difficult. I have found a safer but longer route through the woods themselves. That being said, if any warriors are willing to go with, flying is a viable option. A few good gathering spots on the way, and a stream for a mid-flight break."


Dark as dusk and just as unobtrusive, Scout is very good at what she does. Separated from her family at a young age, Scout roamed The Tangled Wood looking for her family. When days passed and not a soul answered her calls, her thoughts turned from being reunited with her family and to something a little more pressing, survival.

At first, Scout had little luck and spent many days listening to her stomach growl. However, as time passed she learned her natural colouration allowed her to hide and wait in the shadows and she became adept at moving swiftly and silently through the trees. Slowly, Scout became more than a lost hatchling, she became a hunter. She roamed her range looking for food and guiding lost dragons through the maze of trees. Her memory of her territory was far better than the memory of her parents' faces. But survival takes more than just skill it takes luck too.

Out on the hunt one day Scout received a nasty wound on her leg. It got infected and festered. Despite her best efforts, she could not stop the spread of infection. Scout succumbed to fever and delirium. When she awoke she was surrounded by strange dragons, they spoke to her kindly and nursed her back to health. Though none of them told them who they were at first, from snippets of overheard conversations Scout discovered that these dragons were the followers of Lilith.

Filled with gratitude and tired of her solitary life, Scout offered to join them. At first, the group was reticent but Scout put her skills to good use, scouting out and reporting on the lay of the land. Her sharp memory and ability to guide the others through treacherous territory quickly cemented her place as part of the entourage. Once she was one of their own, the group opened up to her and Scout felt as if she had found the family she had been searching for for years.
