B I O G R A P H Y

Winter is coming.

______ NewYearsEve was born in a cold nest, between frozen branches and soft snow. She looked around. Above her head, her mother's face smiled, her green eyes gleaming. "Welcome, my child" she said. A chill went down her spine, as Gleam shivered. She looked at her sister, and then at the other egg that was cracking open. A dragon, just like her, sprouted out of it. They both had purely white eyes, as clear as the ice surrounding them, not like her mother's, or her father's, who's face, much bigger, had just appeared over the nest. "They're beautiful" Rudolph said. And the five of them cuddled up in the freezing winter, protecting each other from the harsh weather.

______ Months passed by. NewYearsEve's siblings were doing fine, or at least they didn't show any signs of the apparent void that was in her heart. She felt incomplete, somehow. She listened to every story her parents would tell them, every day, again and again. Stories about a land where the wind would blow freely, powerful in his own territory. Not a cold wind like where they lived, but a warm, beautiful breeze, that would bring colorful feathers and make kites fly. She wanted to know all that. Her wish was to go there. To live there. And she couldn't wait to grow up, to travel. But one day, while looking for food for her family, she got lost. NewYearsEve had wandered too far from home. She flew around, until a warm breeze caught her. It brought her to the Clan where she was received by a group of friendly dragons. She was a part of a bigger family now, in her dreamed land. She misses her parents and siblings, and though she can't go back (if she did, her family wouldn't be anywhere to be found. They now are serving various deities all through the lands of Sornieth) she is happy with her new friends and clanmates, being herself an important part of the Clan now.
